Sr. Engineer Data Center

Primary Responsibilities:

Minimum 5+ years' work experience as Database Administrator in MSSQL DBA support and worked in any other RDBMS platform such as Azure, Mysql, Sybase, Postgres. (Secondary Skill) 
Working experience in Cloud databases ( Azure/ AWS/ GCP SQL and Oracle databases in PaaS/ IaaS and migration of databases from on-prem to Azure, configure HA/ DR solutions in Azure. 
Sound knowledge of DB server architecture and concepts 
Experience in DB installation, upgrade, migration, patching, and other maintenance/ optimization tasks. 
Should have experience in basic troubleshooting DB performance issues. 
Should have hands-on experience in setup, configuration , troubleshooting DB HA/ DR technologies(Always-On, Failover cluster, Log shipping, Replication)

Working experience in Azure SQL databases in PaaS/ IaaS and migration of databases from on-prem to Azure, configure HA/ DR solutions in Azure. 
Experience in scripting languages PowerShell, and Automation tools like Ansible is added advantage. 
Required Certification/s: Bachelor of technology / B.E or equivalent field, OR a combination of relevant education and experience

Required Skills:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Science or Engineering. 
Certification in MSSQL /Azure/ MySQL is required. 
Certification in ITIL/ Scrum is a plus. 
Experienced in 24x7 production environment support, should be ready to support on call and weekend activities on rotational basis. Open to work in Night shift – based on requirement 
Working knowledge of agile development methods  
Working knowledge of data structured/algorithms  
Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, applications, and trends.  
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, software application, and design.  
Strong cloud migration and data management skills with an emphasis on data privacy and security.  
Excellent problem-solving capabilities and can thrive in a fast-paced work environment.  
Strong communication skills with the willingness to collaborate with cross-functional departments and teams.
