Description

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of design and development experience.
  • Proven experience as a Node.js Developer with expertise in Nest.js or Express.js, demonstrated through successful project implementations.
  • Experience in building enterprise-scale backend REST APIs with frameworks such as NodeJS, Express.js, Nest.js using an API-first paradigm.
  • Intimate knowledge of crafting highly performant database queries using frameworks like Sequelize, Knex.js, or other query builders/ORMs
  • Hands-on experience implementing relational database structures, including tables, indexes, views, etc.
  • Experience with Micro-Services or SOA Architecture and a variety of design patterns.
  • Experience with GCP or any Cloud platform is a huge plus.
  • Understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Messaging Apps (WhatsApp, Messenger etc..) integration experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Infobip or Twilio Frontline App is a huge plus.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies like scrum and Kanban
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

  • Develop RESTful APIs to integrate backend services and ensure seamless data communication for mobile apps and other third-party systems.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the delivery of bug-free and high-quality applications.
  • Build out unit tests and other automated tests.
  • Adhere to version control and collaborative development practices using tools like Git.
  • Maintain proper documentation of the codebase, APIs, and development processes.
