Sr. Full Stack Java Developer

Job Description-

The requirement is for Java and Angular development skills on AWS or Azure, with at least 8 to 10 years of total experience.

Candidates MUST have a solid understanding of Java and Angular. 

What you'll do

1. Developer working on maintenance product applications.
2. Collaborates with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements
3. Maintains and enhances existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development
4. Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues; identifies and implements solutions
5. Creates detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates
6. Researches and implements new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance
7. Supports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines
8. Works closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
2. 4+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing largescale applications in hosted production environments on prem and in the cloud
3. 4+ years of professional design and open-source experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

1. 6 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience
2. Airline Industry experience would be helpful

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

1. Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies:
2. Angular JS, Java or Node JS programming
3. Database and persistence frameworks: MongoDB, Postgres, Oracle, Object/Relational Mapping, Query
4. performance tuning
5. Cloud-based development: Azure
6. Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML)
7. Frameworks: Spring Framework, Spring Boot
8. Front-end: Angular JS, Ext JS, CSS, jQuery, AJAX
9. Build/deployment tools: IntelliJ
10. Other Dev Ops Toolchain: Selenium, GitHub, Terraform scripting
11. Other: Linux/Unix shell Scripting, JavaScript, IBM MQ/Rabbit MQ, SQL Developer, IDE
12. Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
14. Experience in Agile methodologies
