Required Duties and Responsibilities of Consultant shall include but are not limited to:

  • Project Management for the Cloud Migration project
    • Ensure deliverables are met according to the approved project schedule.
    • Works with Program leads to draft and maintain project management artifacts.
    • Receives and evaluates change requests and provides data to the Project Sponsor for decision making.
    • Responsible for project team communications and status reporting.
    • Manage all aspects of the Cloud Migration project across the enterprise with little to no downtime.
    • Time management: Planning, defining, and developing schedules, activities, estimating resources and activity durations; monitor the progress of a project; compare actual performance against planned/scheduled performance; adjusts schedule / resources to ensure that key milestones are reached.
    • Cost management: Planning and estimating costs and determining budgets; managing the project’s budget; identifying, planning, and coordinating required procurements.
    • Quality management: Planning and identifying quality requirements; performing all aspects of managing quality; controlling the quality of deliverables.
    • Human Resource management: Planning and identifying human resource needs; selecting, developing, managing, and coordinating a project team made up of multiple programs within the customer and Vendor staff.
    • Communications management: Planning and managing all aspects of project communications; define the content and the format of project communications / reports based on information requirements of specific stakeholders or groups; ensure appropriate documentation is created/updated throughout the project processes; provide knowledge transfer to technical and non-technical staff as needed.
    • Risk management: Planning for and identifying potential risks; performing qualitative and quantitative risk analysis; planning risk mitigation strategies; implementing and managing mitigation strategies.
    • Stakeholder management: Coordinating and maintaining stakeholders from a variety of customer and external entities; planning and managing stakeholder expectations.
    • Managing the project(s) in accordance with the requirements the Florida Information Technology Project Management and Oversight Standards - Rules 60GG-1.001 through 60GG-1.009, F.A.C. Providing all documentation required.
  • Follow all Department, ISP, and team defined standards and procedures
