Sr. JSP Developer

Job description:

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining web applications using JSP, Java Servlet, and MVC architecture.

· Implement web applications adhering to MVC architecture principles.

· Deploy and manage applications on Tomcat server environments.

· Utilize Agile Scrum methodologies and manage tasks using Jira.

· Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams to develop and enhance JSP Servlet Pages.

· Ensure browser compatibility by developing applications that work seamlessly on Chrome and Edge.

· Exhibit strong HTML and CSS skills to create visually appealing and responsive web pages.

· Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a JSP Developer or in a similar role.

· Proficiency in JSP (Java Server Pages) and Java Servlet development.

· Familiarity with MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture.

· Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment, with proficiency in using Jira.

· Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS, ensuring high-quality user interfaces.

· Previous experience with Tomcat server deployment is a plus.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Effective communication and collaboration abilities within a team.

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
