Sr. Legal Manager

Responsibilities:

· Leads the immigration team advising all non – immigrants to ensure successful integration into the workplace and local community also maintain their legal states.

· Provides oversight of all visas and I9 functions and supports regulatory compliance reports.

· Liaison between our departments and external legal counsel.

· Hands on in preparing and filing h1b / L1B / Perm/ GC 140 applications.

· Strategize, design, and implement seamless immigration processes.

· Expert in handling RFE for H1 applications.

· Present business leaders and HR personnel with immigration regulation updates and information.

· Continuously analyze the immigration process to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

· Overseas and manage the coordination and processing by the immigration services officer/ lawyer of immigration visas as (H1B , 0-1 , TN, E-3, E2 etc.)

· Analyze cases and other matters related to immigration benefits adjudication and litigation and assist the team in case preparation through legal research.

· Interact with applicants to elicit and provide valuable information relating to their case.

Required Candidate profile:

· Experience: 7-10 years of experience as paralegal/ Legal

· Preferably Should possess a degree in law from an accredited university or college. A master's or a doctoral degree in the relevant area would prove to an advantage.

· Should be Goal oriented, technically proficient in legal matters and should have in depth knowledge of the legal environment as well.

· Very Strong communication skills and should have the ability to analyze legal disputes and issues.

· Should be able to demonstrate high level of diplomacy, motivation, and tact while carrying out his/her duties.

· Good advising, monitoring, researching and supervising skills would be a plus.
