Sr. Liferay Developer

Top Technical:
• Liferay DXP 7.4 experience (minimum 7.2)
• Experience with Liferay Fragments, forms, WCM features
• Experience with service builder & rest builder
• Angular.js/Angular dev experience
• Experience with JSON, AJAX, SOA implementations, Rest/SOAP based Web Services, jUnit, Jenkins and GitLab
• Experience with Liferay Cloud preferred
• Experience on Liferay Analytics cloud

Preferred Experience:
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience using web servers, applications servers, and RDBMS
• Minimum 4-5 years professional developing custom portlets, hooks, themes, CMS structures and templates for Liferay DXP
• Experience with JSON, AJAX, SOA, Rest/SOAP based Web Services, jUnit, Jenkins and GitLab
• Experience in API security, analytics, throttling, caching, logging, request and response modifications etc.
• Experience in creating REST API documentation using Swagger and RAML or similar tools desirable
• Experienced with Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
• Knowledge of SQL, stored procedures and functions and complex SQL Queries

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field of study; or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 4-5 years of Liferay DXP development experience
• Practical experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile/SCRUM
