Sr Linux Engineer

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems (versions 7, 8, and 9) in an enterprise environment.
Automate routine tasks using tools like Ansible or BladeLogic.
Develop and maintain scripts using Shell, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Go/Golang, or other relevant languages.
Create and maintain clear and concise technical and end-user documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth system operations.
Stay up-to-date on the latest Red Hat technologies and best practices.

Required Skills

7+ years of experience working with Red Hat products in an enterprise setting.
Senior-level system administration expertise with RHEL 7, 8, and 9.
Strong automation skills using tools like Ansible or BladeLogic.
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, such as Shell, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or Go/Golang.
Expert-level technical and end-user documentation skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
