About You: BA/BS or equivalent experience 7+ years work experience in data strategy or data operations within people analytics Demonstrated leader in knowledge and application of data, reporting, and analytics Proficient with various programming languages- SQL, R, Python and good understanding with APIs Proficient with relational and non-relational databases Have past experience in developing and implementing data quality and data governance frameworks Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education to continue to raise individual and team performance Demonstrated ability to drive efforts from concept to implementation and influence across all levels of the organization Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical acumen Superior communication, listening, and organizational skills Preferred: Proven team leadership experience including hiring, coaching, building a talent pipeline, performance management Strong domain specific knowledge in Human Resources data and processes Prior experience in human resources or talent/people analytics industry Target is one of the world’s most recognized brands and one of America’s leading retailers.
