Sr. .NET Developer

Responsibilities:

Develop and provide day to day support for the internally developed document management system and other third party applications.

Develope and mantain healthcare payer EDI Solutions (primarily HIPAA X12 transactions) around Cognizants QNXT Claims processing system.

Work on dwevelopement of non-X 12 EDI imports and exports , XML and text file processing, data mapping and data conversion projects.

Participate in projects and new initiative meeting as necessary and represent the developement team, amking recommondations and decesions on the behalf of the team.

Analyse and translate business requests / requirements to functional requirements and technical specifications , develop and/or manage the developement, perform code revies, and work in IT and business areas to test and deliver the results  in a timely manner.

Maintail relationship with software vendors and EDI trading partners and lead developementa nd troubleshooting efforts of others in group.

Look for ways to improve how and what we develop / deploy and make sugesstions.

Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the management.

Qualifications:

Bachelors in IT or equivalent years of Experience.

Min 3yr experience with IT Healthcare payer technologies, preferably with claims processing system (such as QNXT).

5Yr application developement and integration experience using MS technologies (eg. C#, .net, SSIS, SSRS, SQL, Server, VisUAL sTUDIO)

3Yr exp in managing skilled technical staff and vendors

Proficient in Transact SQL, PL/SQL, C#, .net, and Webservices.

Proficient in MS SQL Server, SSIS, BIZTALK Server developement.

Experience with EDI and HIPAA X 12 trasaction sets (eg. 837, 835, 277)

Strong Business analysis /needs assesment skills, must be comfortable and effective working with end user.

Strong customer service skills , able to professinally and effectively resolve request in a high volume and fast paced enviroment while interacting with other IT Department staff , business users and sr. management.

Ability to work well in team enviroment , meet tight deal lines and handle several projects symultaneously

Must have excellent communication, managerila, interpersonal and collaborative skills
