System Maintenance, Integration, enhancement efforts related to daily production support of both Disability (DBL) and Workers’ Compensation Systems (WC); new development for DBL/PFL systems; new development of Division of Confidential Investigation (DCI) system; Claims Tranformation.

Duties 

  • The duties of the consulting resources would be to plan, streamline, create, modify, test and implement code in support of any of the following:
  • Assist with maintenance of expanding vendor- Secure Scans’ current access to our Disability Systems and folders to allow them to receive all incoming documents in reference to Disability Claims and to begin basic data entry for DB and PFL Claims Intake, thus increasing overall claim forms processing efficiency.
  • Develop Oracle stored procedures, packages, views, and triggers necessary to maintain Disability, Paid Family Leave Claims Processing, Workers’ Compensation System such as eClaims Reporting, Claims Center, First Report of Injury and SIFHearings.
  • Assist with the timely resolution of production issues for both Disability and Workers’ Compensation System.
  • Assist with the new development and maintenance efforts related to NYSIF Disability systems written in Javascript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and MVC.
  • Assist with system maintenance efforts related to Claims Center written in Javascript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and MVC.
  • Develop new Division of Confidential Investigation (DCI) case management system.
  • Efforts related to our Claims Transformation Project.
  • Efforts related to integrate claims data to data warehouse/business intelligence system.
  • The consultant will adhere to NYSIF’s application development standards, including, but not limited to, project management methodology, SDLC (software development life cycle), Enterprise Architecture standards and the IT governance process.

Mandatory Requirements 

  • Experience (10+Years)
  • Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.

Requirements

  • This is an 100% Onsite
  • 84 months experience in Oracle development, PL/SQL development including Triggers, Packages, Procedures, functions, views, Advanced Queuing, SQL Tuning, and generating a data file from Oracle
  • 84 months experience with Microsoft C#.Net and Object-Oriented Programming
  • 60 months experience developing web-based systems using Microsoft ASP.NET, MVC
  • 36 months experience with .NET Core, .NET 6, .NET 8
  • 60 months experience with JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, and HTML
  • 24 months experience in using Microsoft Team Foundation Server in a Microsoft Windows environment, including experience in branching, Merging, and check-in/check-out.
  • 48 months experience with Azure DevOps
  • 24 months experience with Disability Benefits claim processing and/or Workers Compensation Claims Processing
  • 48 months experience with PPM Pro
