SR Program Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Expertly serves, facilitates, and coordinates at a business segment/category level.
-Collaborates and facilitates across departments (i.e. Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Operations) to achieve a common goal.
-Guides the project team through the stage gate process throughout the project"s life cycle.
-Manages scope, timelines, budgets, and communications for complex projects and programs inside and outside of New Product Development.
-Establishes and maintains overall project schedules utilizing critical path, standard project plans, and works proactively to identify and resolve timing concerns to deliver according to the business need.
-Removes obstacles that prevent the project team from achieving desired outcomes, including scope change requests and cost challenges.
-Ensures project team has necessary tools to be successful at executing per the project plan.
-Identifies opportunities for improvement with any new project, utilizing warranty feedback, labor reporting, safety statistics, and material cost.
-Organizes and participates in project post mortem for business results analysis (say/do), as well as identification of what went well, improvements for future projects, and/or items for incorporation into future product designs.
-Drives improvements to NPD and business processes.

-Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
-Understanding and experience with Planview project management software preferred
-PMP certification preferred
-Proven experience in leading teams and strategic planning
-Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
-Knowledge of NPD methodology and tools
-Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and manage complex projects
-Possesses and displays excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information in a clear, focused and concise manner
-Ability to present technical information in business-friendly and user-friendly language and effectively communicate within all levels of the organization
-Possesses dynamic presentation skills for communication to external organizations and groups as needed, on employment or Company topics. Must have experience making effective presentations to large and varied groups.
-Ability to shift priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
-10+ years experience in project/program management, including all aspects of process development and execution
