Sr. Python Developer

Job Summary:

Role Overview:
Enterprise Finance Technology’s GWD Technology team is dedicated to implementing innovative tech-based solutions, enhancing forecasting processes, and supporting operational excellence. The Senior Python Developer will collaborate closely with technical leads and Product Owners to transform and deliver new analytics and reporting functionalities in the GWD platform. This role involves hands-on application development, leading design assessments, and managing multi-component integration activities.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 12+ years of development experience in advanced Python programming language microservices.
• Hands-on experience in object-oriented programming and test-driven development, with a good understanding of design patterns.
• 6-8 years of experience in developing RESTful Web services using the Flask framework.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in integrating user interfaces built with React/Angular/Node.js with Python-based services.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience integrating with backend data systems like SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
• Note: Skills experience around backend programming for data-pipelining, transformation, etc., and Big data ML programming are not needed.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience in Quartz (Internal bank platform) is preferred.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline.
• Experience working with agile methodologies and SDLC processes would be preferred.

Important Notes:

• Skills experience around backend programming for data-pipelining, transformation, etc. is NOT needed.
• Skills experience around Big data ML programming is NOT needed.
