Sr QA Analyst

We are currently looking for a Sr. QA Analyst (Manual) to help establish strong quality gates and help provide and maintain a high-quality product through executing various test strategies. This candidate will be responsible for Quality Assurance across web, API, and database platforms. In this role, you will assist with creating test plans, functional testing, load testing, track defects, and report results. This role will also function as a quality liaison between business and development teams and help establish best practices around testing and triaging issues. The ideal candidate should have experience troubleshooting and testing web-based and API driven applications . Primary Responsibilities: · Develop test plans, cases, scenarios, and scripts to thoroughly test internal & external application changes and new products. · Develops quality assurance standards. · Analyze and troubleshoot erroneous results, determine the root causes, and suggest a solution. · Conduct manual regression testing of applications on a scheduled basis to ensure product integrity. · Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. · Provide post-release support related to defect analysis, scalability, and workflow. · Communicate directly with management and the development team regarding test objectives, requirements, and results. · Participate in other testing and process improvement projects, as needed. Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent. · Hands-on experience with complex Queries using Oracle database is required. · Hands-on experience with micro-services and UI (Angular) testing is required. · Experience with Unix/Linux is required. · 2+ years leading testing and reporting quality metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership. · 5+ years software testing experience in Quality Assurance or similar role. · Significant experience with industry leading Quality Assurance related tools. · Experience with Postman, SoapUI or a similar API testing tool is required. · Scrum Agile development or Scaled Agile Framework desired. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
