Sr. Qlik Developer Administrator

Austin, TX 78711 (Remote within US)

6 months Contract with possibility to extension

As a Qlik Developer Administrator, the candidate must have a strong technical background extracting data from various sources, using the Qlik script editor, managing Qlik Servers, designing and implementing advanced/innovated dashboards, implementing and managing security and creating various Qlik solutions. This position will work as part of project team interacting with product owners, internal/external stakeholders, application development, and other Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse staff to ensure report needs are assessed, documented, designed, developed, and implemented.

The Candidate must have experience in and be able to perform the following:

· developing advanced BI visualizations and dashboards using Qlik Sense and/or Qlik View

· create custom queries/reports designed for quality verification and information sharing

· administer QlikView/Qlik Sense/nPrinting/GeoAnalytics/QAP platform

· performance tuning of dashboards and defining server sizing for optimal performance of Qlik dashboards

· checking on any long running production jobs and doing any performance tuning activities to ensure jobs are moving faster

· implement and maintain security

· administration using Qlik QMC

· working with Database Administrators for any DB related issues

· analyzing problems, determining root cause, reporting on problem status, etc., for network and desktop (application hardware and software) issues

· analyzing and performance tuning of daily running jobs in production
