JOB DESCRIPTION:

• You will work closely with the architects and technical leaders to implement CRM capabilities on the Salesforce platform.
• You will be responsible development of software features on the Salesforce Financial Service Cloud to drive business value.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to maximize our CRM transformation with the Salesforce platform.
• Participate in scrum teams to develop/enhance functionality on the Salesforce platform, including the technical analysis and estimates.
• Actively contribute in any team discussions, value add by sharing experiences or providing technical know-how to the team best leverage the out of the box capabilities.
• Support in DevOps development and process efficiencies.
• Stay current on Salesforce's development platform and implement Salesforce development best practices, following the RBC internal standards and guidelines

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
• 5+ years of web-based application design/developer experience or full-stack development (Java, .Net, HTML, XML, JSP and JavaScript)
• 2+ years in Salesforce configuration, customization, development using Salesforce.com
• Hands-on experience with the Lightning platform including APEX coding, Aura framework, Lightning Web Components, API's, Platform Events and Salesforce Data Model.
• Experience integrating Salesforce applications with 3rd party systems using APIs, UI frameworks and event based integration patterns.
• Understanding of the Salesforce platform and its architecture and product suite including Sales & Service Cloud and Financial Services Cloud
• Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I (PDI)

Nice-to-have
• Experience implementing CRM solutions in the financial sector
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps best practices and tools including Jenkins, AutoRABIT and Gearset
• Experience with ETL tools (Datastage) & OCP
