Responsibilities
Primary support for SAP EC Payroll US.
Configure and develop SAP Payroll within prescribed SAP guidelines in support of regulatory and business
requirements.
Work closely with functional teams (HR and Payroll) to understand and transform business requirements
into scalable and manageable solutions.
Coordinate with external vendors, project managers, and IT teams to ensure projects and initiatives
managed appropriately.
Analyze integration errors, troubleshooting and implement resolutions.
Present solutions and options to business users, project teams and other stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and advise on processes such as P2P integrations, 401K, benefits, Annual Tax Adjustments,
Year-end processes, offcycle workbench etc, HRSP.
Partner with team members and stakeholders working in different time zones in US and international
countries.
Drive technical conversations with vendors as well as internal and external development teams.
Create and lead the execution of test strategy between HR and Payroll.
Document new requirements to work with business.
Experience And Skills
Solid understanding of the SAP HR & Payroll modules
Experience with configuration of wage types, schemas, rules, functions, features, P2P etc.
Understanding of fiscal, legal and administration functions of US payroll
Experience with Payroll Control center
Good understanding of BSI TaxFactory and Tax Profile Factory
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and good interpersonal skills
Ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Able to Multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
Experience with creating technical specifications from business requirements and functional design
documents.
Ability to effectively communicate in technical and non-technical terms.
Strong customer service skills which include an in-depth understanding of customer business processes and
needs.
Understanding of Employee Lifecyle, Payroll and Benefits Business processes.
Experience with SAP report generation.
Demonstrated understanding and experience with Support Pack / Note analysis and application and Note
Interpretation and analysis on the application of SAP notes and upgrades.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or in a related technical field (e.g., Engineering or Science) or
equivalent education, technical training, and experience.
Minimum 12 years of experience supporting SAP Payroll.
Experience with the SAP Support Portal a plus.
Certification in SAP HR/Payroll & EC Payroll.
Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work
This is a full-time position.
Normal hours of work are Monday through Friday.
Flexibility to work in support of Global Operations when needed.
