Sr. Servicenow Engineer

As a Senior Service Now Engineer, you will collaborate across the Business Units, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to analyze/define/design and support the implementation of end-to-end solutions that enables the best-in-class workforce experiences. You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform within our organization. This role requires extensive knowledge of the ServiceNow system, as well as experience in software development and system administration. 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the design, development, and roll-out of ServiceNow modules and applications.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data.
• Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of the ServiceNow platform.
• Develop software solutions and ServiceNow applications based on business needs.
• Create and manage scripts and workflows within ServiceNow.
• Provide training and support to ServiceNow end-users.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities and features.
• Work closely with IT project management team to deliver solutions on time and within budget. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the ServiceNow platform. Basic Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a focus on Asset Management
• Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow platform and its Asset Management module
• Strong understanding of IT Asset Lifecycle Management, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and business process automation (BPA).
• Fluent in JavaScript, JSON, and GraphQL, REST APIs and other relevant web technologies.
• Proficient in data modelling, data architecture, as well as data structures

Preferred Qualification :

Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years or Masters with 3 plus years of experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Certifications in ServiceNow Application Development, System Administration, or Implementation Specialist are a plus.

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. This senior position requires not only technical expertise but also leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams. The successful candidate will ensure the optimal performance of our ServiceNow platform, enabling us to streamline our operations and provide better service to our clients.
