The Sr. SIEM Engineer will provide holistic managed cybersecurity services, support the implementation of strategic operational capabilities, identify, and assess areas for innovation and help sunset legacy technologies and processes.

By serving as an integration partner with access to a world-class cyber workforce, infrastructure, investment, and industry partnerships to provide the right capabilities at the right time, Team Deloitte will help rapidly deliver cyber services through the application of industry-leading practices; more effectively identify, evaluate, and scale innovative emerging technology capabilities to drive productivity, operational efficiency, and security outcomes; and maintain a holistic view of Cyber Operations to provide on-demand expertise for any situation, anticipate service variance, and optimize enterprise performance.

Work you'll do
 

  • Operate audit log and monitoring systems
  • Security information and event management (SIEM) tools
  • Network-based and host-based intrusion detection systems
  • Firewalls
  • Malware detection tools
  • Antivirus solutions/systems
  • VPN technologies and encryptions standards
  • May be asked to oversee Jr. and Mid-level staff
  • Position will sit onsite in Northern Las Vegas Nevada

Qualifications

Required
 

  • BS/BA Degree OR Degree equivalent (3 years/non internship experience = 1 year of Higher Education)
  • 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity
  • 2+ years' experience in an SIEM environment
  • Active Top-Secret clearance OR DOE "Q" Level Clearance
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) OR Cyber Incident response
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future


Preferred:
 

  • Experience with SPLUNK
