Sr. Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Site Reliability Engineer to support our multiple engineering teams by providing robust infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patching, building pipelines, and must possess a strong understanding of Terraform. As an AWS and a GitHub Actions (GHA) shop, experience with both AWS and GHA is essential. Candidates that apply must have extreamly good communication skills and be very articulate.

This is a hybrid position, with 1-2 days a week onsite. This role is Conract to Hire, salary range between 130-135K. No C2C, No 3rd party vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance infrastructure that supports software development and deployment processes

Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies using GitHub Actions

Transition monitoring systems from DataDog to New Relic, ensuring minimal disruption and improved performance insights

Ensure all network components are appropriately tagged for efficient tracking and management

Collaborate closely with our Principal SRE to brainstorm and bounce ideas, contributing to the innovation of our infrastructure strategies

Exhibit leadership qualities, not shying away from taking charge, presenting ideas, and training and mentoring team members

Maintain clear and articulate communication, with an emphasis on diction and presentation skills

Represent the organization professionally, maintaining a well-groomed appearance for presentations and meetings

Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning, participating in meet-up groups, engaging in offline projects, and staying abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices
