Sr. SQL Server DBA III / Healthcare : ONLY W2

100% Remote

12 month Contract to Hire

Database Administrator is responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of the Database Management Systems.  Duties include but are not limited to installation, deployment, performance evaluation and tuning, technology research/evaluation, architecture design, capacity planning and mitigation for the enterprise Database Management Systems environments, both on-prem (physical/virtual), and cloud.  Responsible for understanding the technical design and operation of enterprise Database Management Systems and learning the concepts behind the technical design and operation of Cloud database solutions that meet business application requirements.  Responsible for coordinating with business partners and application owners for maintenance to existing environments and planning for additional capacity and upgrades. Be available for on-call support as needed.

• Non-product support to begin and then will support product down the road

• 8-10 years of experience
• Organization/documenting skills - one piece they have lacked on the team

Skill-Set Breakdown:

• 80% SQL Server
• 20% Oracle - in the process of pushing this out the door (Unix experience is fine)
• Azure - or any cloud experience - understanding of cloud/different phases

9+ Years of Overall IT Experience.
