Sr. SSIS Consultant

Description 

This position is with the ITS CTO Business Solutions HHS team and will be responsible for the design and development of a large multi-level system that will ETL (extract, transform and load) from an external OLAP database to an internal system

Duties 

• Use Microsoft Visual Studio to create and maintain SSIS packages and projects.
• Extract data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, flat files, or APIs.
• Create and maintain database stored procedures and functions.
• Contribute to the design of a data warehouse architecture that supports data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
• Optimize query performance by creating indexes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.
• Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor.

Mandatory Requirements 

• Experience (10+Years)
• Creates computer software. May specialize in one area of computer software or may write code for many kinds of software

Requirements 

• This is an 100% Onsite
• 84 months ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) experience creating SQL Server SSIS objects
• 84 months SQL Server Programming; views, stored procedures, and functions.
• 60 months of experience with Data Warehousing.
• 60 months experience with OLAP (On-line Analytical Processing)
