Sr. Wireless Network

Job Description:

As a key member of the Tech Ops Infrastructure Engineering team you will fill a critical role supporting the transformation of wireless networking systems and solutions globally, and subsequent ongoing continuous improvement.

This could be through the creation of strategies, roadmaps and implementation plans, creating low level engineering designs or by providing subject matter expert (SME) level support to the Operations teams.

The role will suit an individual who enjoys working collaboratively with Engineers and Architects to create holistic solutions incorporating a wide range of systems and technologies, and who is able to bring creativity to the solutioning process.

You will work closely with other Engineers who have specialized skills while cross-training within core technologies. Both they and you, will be constantly learning from each other.

Role Responsibilities
Create wireless network engineering solutions and designs within defined standards, or proposing new standards when required, ensuring that designs work holistically within larger solutions

In close collaboration with cross functional architecture teams, develop strategies and roadmaps which support the introduction and continuous improvement of next generation wireless network and control systems.

Actively develop Software Defined Wireless Networking models and introduce automation solutions across Wireless platforms

Design roadmap implementation projects, communicating with stakeholders and operations teams to ensure delivery

Maintain a good awareness of Operations activities through regular communication with operations leads and by attending update meetings

Essential
Extensive experience of implementing and developing Next Gen Software Defined Wireless Networking platforms and Network Automation, including provisioning and administration activities using automation technologies within the following environments

Extensive experience of working with stakeholders to define requirements, select technologies, design, and introduce innovative, performant, and scalable wireless solutions
