SSD Application Engineer

About the job

Responsibilities

• Support NVMe/SATA SSD system-level validation tests and SSD rework activities

• Assist international & domestic shipments/logistics

• Samples and lab equipment managements

• Customer issue reproduce (including customer onsite support if requested)

• Perform SSD failure analysis using available tools

• Design and carry out experiments for the needs of the failure analysis

• Automate SSD testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor or greater, major in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

• Familiar with Linux & Windows OS

• Good communication skill in Mandarin and English (especially the English writing skill)

• Experience in Storage/Flash Memory technologies or PCIe space, would be a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledgeable about server system/flash memory device testing

• Experience in flash memory device functionality and usage models

• Experience in C, C++, Python

Year of Experience

• At least 3 yrs working experience in the storage industry or enterprise/data center system-integration (SI) related fields.
