SSE-OSS L2 Support Engineer

Job Duties:

• Develop high-performance Java applications utilizing Java 8 and Java 11 features, with a focus on Lambda expressions and Stream API for enhanced code readability and efficiency. Leverage functional programming capabilities of Java 8 to create elegant, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Support the Telecom OSS/BSS Application, primarily working on microservices architecture. Simplifying API integration between microservices using Spring Cloud Open Feign, enhancing communication and improving developer experience. Ensure secure access and authentication in microservices by integrating Spring Security.
• Provide Tier 2 (L2) support to customers by researching, diagnosing, and troubleshooting issues related to software bugs and technical problems.
• Streamline API integration between microservices, fostering efficient communication. Collaborate closely with Content Management Systems (CMS) teams to seamlessly integrate ReactJS components, conducting comprehensive testing to validate functionality and responsiveness.
• Apply core Java concepts, including Collections, Multi-Threading, Serialization, and advanced features of Java 8 and Java 11, ensuring the development of robust and scalable solutions.
• Implement automation solutions for repetitive tasks to enhance support efficiency. Actively contribute to the automation of processes related to issue resolution and support ticket management.
• Actively participate in the management of support tickets, ensuring timely responses, resolution, and compliance with SLAs. Contribute to the improvement of support processes and efficiencies.
• Design and build approaches to complex systems, system management problems, or network problems.
• Perform deployment and integration management functions.
• Write the unit testing to the application using Junit and  Mockito with TDD approach.

All the responsibilities mentioned above are in line with the professional background and requires an absolute minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor' s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
