Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions to connect various data sources with BI platforms
  • Implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for efficient data flow
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft's BI and data stack, including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, and other relevant tools
  • Create and optimize data models to support BI reporting and analytics
  • Utilize tools like Power BI Desktop to design relationships, measures, and calculated columns
  • Write custom scripts, expressions, and queries to enhance and customize BI solutions
  • Develop extensions or custom components to meet specific integration requirements
  • Integrate BI solutions with other applications and services through API integration
  • Facilitate seamless communication and data exchange between different components of the Microsoft stack
  • Implement data governance practices to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data within BI solutions
  • Adhere to data policies and standards
  • Collaborate with business analysts, BI developers, and other stakeholders to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions that align with business needs
  • Provide support for integration-related issues, identifying and resolving problems, and ensuring the overall reliability of BI integration solutions
  • Leverage Microsoft Azure cloud services for integration, storage, and deployment
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory or other relevant Azure services
  • Create and maintain documentation for integration processes, custom development, and data models
  • Ensure that documentation is comprehensive and accessible to team members
