SSOT Solution Architect
Single Source Of truth solution architect is responsible for Ideating, building, implementing, and supporting various data initiatives covering different data domains, single source of truth, data modelling, data integration & migration, data quality, data lineage and data governance. These projects will primarily involve cloud solutions (AWS) but may also involve source systems on-premises. In this role, the candidate will work closely with Mindtree's clients to provide data expertise with Master Data Management (MDM), data quality, migration and integration around leading governance platforms such as Collibra, Alation and Informatica and custom solutions.
Responsibilities
• Expert in aggregating various data sources in single a central repository for data storage, collection and analysis.
• Lead the design and implementation of the Single Source of Truth for the specified data domains.
• Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across the centralized repository.
• Collaborate with data owners and data stewards to prioritize data domains and sources.
• Conduct domain prioritization and ratings sessions to align with business objectives.
• Identify and define key data entities within each source system.
• Work closely with data stakeholders to understand and document entity relationships.
• Gather and document business and stakeholder requirements for the SSOT.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for data integration.
• Prioritize information based on business and stakeholder needs.
• Develop strategies for efficient information retrieval and presentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data owners, data stewards, and IT professionals.
• Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
• Develop and execute certification processes to validate the accuracy of data within the SSOT.
• Implement data quality controls and monitoring mechanisms.
• Create and document Governance standards & procedures, including data lineage, data ownership, metadata (business glossary and data definitions), and data security.
• Collaborates with integration teams to develop master data acquisition strategies and enterprise ETL design patterns aligned with the enterprise master data models.
• Resolves complex technical issues as they relate to data architecture, performance, and various tools, working closely with technical team members
• Develop and implement Data Quality standards, data protection standards, and adoption requirements across the enterprise.
• Act as a domain expert in platform governance, migration and integration and continue to drive this capability across the Boston market.
• Review and create system, software and functional design specifications that address requirements.
• Write scripts/procedures/statements using DML and DDL (SQL statements) against databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.
• Use data integration tools and techniques such as ETL (Extract Transform Load), CDC (Change Data Capture), etc.
• Provide advice on technical aspects of data quality, governance and integration, including the operational and maintenance aspects of systems under development, and proposed system recovery procedures.
• Apply enterprise data management practices and principles in ways of working.
• Identify patterns, trends, and insight through use of the appropriate tools.
• Identify data quality issues through data profiling, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
• Apply dimensional data modelling concepts and practices to develop conceptual, logical and physical data models to support insight delivery.
• Lead and participate in business development, Proof of Concept (PoC), pre-sales activities to craft the right data management solutions for our clients.
Requirements
• Total 10+ Industry Experience, with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in leading SSOT (Single Source Of Truth) concept / MDM tools (Informatica, IDMC, Reltio, Ataccama) & Data Quality & Governance implementation.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in any Engineering discipline.
• Technical expertise in Informatica MDM and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) product suits
• 5+ years of experience working with data projects such as Master Data Management, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Lakes, and other analytical & BI platforms with the ability to be an advocate for architecture that supports.
• 5+ years of experience in developing solutions in modern governance tools such as Collibra, Alation and/or Informatica.
• Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP as well as container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of data management disciplines, including data quality and master/reference data management.
• Experience enabling and automating data science workflows, applying AI/Client for data management & quality.
• Hand on experience with applying AI/Client techniques for data quality or profiling.
