As a Storage Premier Technical Support Engineer, you'll provide critical support to enterprise customers, focusing on Lenovo ThinkSystem DE, DM, DG, and DS storage products. Your role involves identifying, diagnosing, replicating, and resolving technical issues promptly. Success requires a proactive, self-motivated approach, strong customer service, and technical problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in English and one of the following languages—German, French, Spanish, or Italian—is required.

Key Qualifications: 

 

  • Expertise in Block, File, Object Storage, and Page (NVMe).
  • Proficiency in DAS, SAN, and NAS systems.
  • Familiarity with Storage ONTAP, ONCOMMAND OS functions.
  • Experience in managing Volumes, LUNs, groups, and various storage features.
  • Knowledge of high availability, clustering, RAID, and DDP groups.
  • Proficient in Topology Management, including installation and debugging.
  • Competence in networking, OS stacks, and multipath configurations.Familiarity with DE/DM storage systems, Fiber Channel, iSCSI, Ethernet, and NVMe. Experience in Linux, VMware, vSAN, Windows Server OS, and storage protocols (CIFS, iSCSI, NFS). Exposure to Kubernetes, Storage OS, SANtricity, SVC, Rest API, and CLI usage.
  • Documentation and procedural writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Python and scripting tools.
  • Collaboration with customers, partners, and support personnel.
  • Proven experience in debugging storage issues and performance tuning. 


     

Requirements: 

 

  • Demonstrable experience in three of the following: Enterprise Storage, Virtualization, Hybrid Cloud Technologies, All-Flash Storage, Software-defined and Object Storage, Data Protection technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of storage technologies and integrations.
  • Availability for 24/7 shift work and on-call rotation.
  • Preferred storage certifications: NCTA, NCDA, NCIE.


     

You will be reporting to EMEA ISG Manager.
