Stress Analysis Engineer

Job Specification

• Knowledge of modelling and analysis of aluminum and composite materials. Position Competencies (include behavioral characteristics and leadership capabilities)

• Knowledgeable in the design process.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Excellent communication skills and teamwork is required to effectively coordinate efforts within engineering departments external to engineering, and with the customers’ FEA analysis of complex systems in regulated industries (Aerospace preferred). Minimum Qualifications:

• Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering Bachelor's Degree.

• Minimum of 10 years industry experience in performing FEA analysis in a regulated industry such as Aerospace.

• Use of stress analysis software packages (ANSYS preferred).

• Proven experience of computer aided design (CATIA V5 preferred).

• Experienced in stress analysis with ability to run hand calculations to complement FEA tools.
