Supply Chain Director

The Supply Chain Director directs the organization's overall supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory management, vendor selection, inventory forecasting, and cost control for both direct and indirect materials. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient material supply, management of inventory value and inventory efficiency (inventory turns), and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. The position ensures that all materials are available on time, within budget, and meet internal KPI expectations.

Skills

 

• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain or related field
• 10 or more years experience in Supply Chain leadership in lieu of a degree
• 10 or more years experience of managing & developing a team
• High energy, results-oriented individual who makes a difference - takes initiative, makes things happen, accepts accountability, and has a "can-do" attitude; has a sense of urgency.
• Creative and flexible in attitude and style to adapt to new situations in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers & customers.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills; ability and desire to promote teamwork and develop employees.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the company.
• Must be organized, work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Understand the basics of industrial safety, health, and environmental impacts and proactively address or elevate issues.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English both in oral and written form. Spanish language skills are advantageous.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and BOMs.
• Gaming experience preferable.
• Experience with ERP and PLM systems.
