Skills and Responsibilities:
• 5+ years of experience in application support on distributed technologies
• Experience ITIL Framework and processes- Incident Mgmt, Problem Mgmt, Change Mgmt knowledge.
• Expertise in Scripting Language (Shell / Perl / Python)
• Experience with Java/J2EE. Databse skills- DB2, Oracle, SQL server
• Middleware technology (WAS, Client/ JBOSS, Tomcat)
• Product knowledge (IBM CMOD, Xenos)
• Experience in working within a SLA guidelines, prioritzation of efforts
• Knowledge management experience - building support manual, support standards, project handover gating check lists etc
• Experience in production issue troubleshooting with multiple teams- DBAs, Level 2 support teams, Operations, File Transfer teams, OS, Middleware etc.
• PMLC/SDLC knowledge is an asset.
• Good Application Support experience
• Expertise in Database (Oracle, MS SQL) for writing simple & complex SQL queries.
• Excellent trouble shooting and analytical skills to resolve issues with various software components.
• Good knowledge of Debugging, defect fixing and maintenance of software programs / code / application
• Experience in working with external vendors to provide application support.
• Deploy fixes to lower environments, test and promote to higher environments.
• Working experience with Service Now
• SDLC and Change Management process experience and knowledge (working experience with ITIL Service Now tool)
• Working experience and good knowledge of i. Linux environment "
