Role: SW Developer - MES Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering and Estimation:

Capture system-level requirements through collaboration with various stakeholders.

Identify work scope, provide initial estimates, and justify them with facts.

Technical Design and Development:

Evaluate technology/software design choices, articulate trade-offs, and lead technical discussions.

Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing, and code quality automation.

Develop automated tests and participate in pair programming and code reviews.

Agile Methodology and Project Planning:

Demonstrate understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle and participate in Agile project planning.

Collaborate closely with peers in a fast-paced environment to meet product release goals.

Expertise and Continuous Improvement

Design, develop, and implement MES solutions that meet business requirements.

Collaborate with project teams to understand system requirements and integrate MES solutions with existing systems.

Conduct code reviews, maintain standard coding practices, and ensure software quality.

Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, scrum meetings, and retrospectives.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.

Experience with MES systems, particularly in configuration, customization, and deployment.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial automation.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
