Job Description:
Experience as a DBA on Sybase 15.x. and 16.0 in Production and UAT environments.
Experienced in handling troubleshooting tasks in Sybase servers
User Management in Sybase.
Database creation and device creation.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Strong team player and able to maintain effective working relationships with a variety of individuals and groups (both internal and external).
Proficient problem-solver who can take independent responsibility, contribute and be a productive team member.
Database refreshing from production to Test Server environments and cross platform refreshes (unix to linux servers).
Worked on AIX servers
Good knowledge in implementing database backup and recovery strategies.
Good understanding of Change processes and methodology.
Experience of working in BMC Helix and Service now tools
