Technical/Functional Skills
• C systems programming in the Unix/Linux environments
• TCP/IP Network programming
• Good understanding of Kerberos internals (ideally MIT)
• Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory
• Familiarity with integrating Linux and Microsoft Active Directory
• Familiarity with sssd
• Familiarity with LDAP
• Some Perl programming
• Some Python programming
• Experience of working in an enterprise environment subject to rigid change control
Experience Required
• Familiarity with Solaris, Microsoft Windows
• Familiarity with identity mgmt concepts
• Familiarity with the use of Jenkins pipelines for automated build, test and deployment
Roles & Responsibilities
• Analysis of realm-specific dependencies in existing tooling
• Software engineering to port a subset of existing utilities to the proposed authentication environment.
• Engineering of new utilities to provide functionality our internal customers expect in the context of a novel authentication environment.
• Engaging with other teams to integrate solutions into the existing environment.
• Troubleshooting testing and performance evaluation
