DESCRIPTION:

As Backup System Administrator, you will serve as a technical resource on an enterprise backup team. Your responsibilities will include managing backups in an enterprise backup system, performing systems restores, providing advanced support for Windows and Linux servers, business analysis, research, and problem solving of complex issues.
In this role, your work will be directly impacted by a large and complex computing environment, widely disparate infrastructure platforms, and a broad range of internal/external customers/users. The systems that you will support have critical regulatory requirements and deadlines, any issues that arise within the environment could impact the operations of other state agencies as well as agency partners.
Additionally, you be collaborating with other IT teams to coordinate troubleshooting efforts or recovery efforts. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area with at least at least 6 years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area.
