Job Description

These are the principal accountabilities:
 

  • Triage all market data collection application issues ensuring timely resolution of 1st and 2nd line incidents/requests
  • Ensuring production environments are active, performant, secure, reliable, and monitored
  • Point of contact for service delivery, development and deployment of change/resolution.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to identify business user/process issues
  • Maintain mailbox queries and respond to these in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and implement technical procedures effective in quickly addressing business user problems to minimize downtime
  • Ensure the change delivery is documented and tracked accurately
  • Ensure the quality of test evidence is kept by tracking it according to company standards
  • Fully understand the ecosystem and end to end functional and technical processes. Proactively searching for Continuous Improvement solutions.
  • Manage 3rd party suppliers to ensure that incident resolutions are achieved within agreed SLA.
  • Ensuring data integration processing completion, as well as supporting business service requests in alignment with the business timetable

  • Languages & Frameworks: A working knowledge and proven track record of experience in the following products and technologies:
  • Insurance market knowledge
  • Agile working
  • Database and UI application technologies
  • Azure DevOps for backlog management and test execution
  • ServiceNow using ITIL framework
  • Microsoft Office, SQL & BI tools – Azure SQL, Excel
  • Interpersonal skills, inclusive of written & verbal communication
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Technical expertise and a thorough understanding of current business processes
