About The Role

Building, Managing, Supporting & Monitoring all installed hardware systems and infrastructure
Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining hardware management systems, operating system and container and virtualisation stack.
Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Review and influence new and evolving design, architecture, standards, and methods for operating services and systems
Participate in software and system performance analysis and tuning, service capacity planning and demand forecasting
Manage the availability, scalability, security and performance of our platforms and applications.
Diagnose bottlenecks for the full stack and provide recommendations to overcome the bottlenecks as an interim work around, while a long-term solution is investigated.

Must Have

BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
Work experience of 2.5 - 5 years (excluding internship)
Experience in System programming, tuning and troubleshooting of Unix/Linux Operating systems.
Exposure to the administration and performance tuning of storage systems.
Strong understanding of networking and packet tracing.
Strong working knowledge in any of the system programming languages like Go, Java, C++ and solid scripting skills in Python/Bash. 
Ability to pick up new software, frameworks and APIs quickly
Sharp and tenacious troubleshooting skills: you can fix anything.
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Good To Have

Experience with virtualisation or containerisation systems (OpenStack/Kubernetes).
Experience with network attached storage systems (NVMeoF/iSCSI)
Experience server and storage hardware platform management systems (BMC/IPMI/Redfish)
