Working independently and collaboratively with others, this position plays an integral role in executing mission, philosophy, and commitment to providing safe, reliable power to our community and exceptional service to our internal and external customers. All employees are also expected to maintain a high level of trust, integrity, and ethical standards.

This is a supervisory position that provides project management support and assistance for the operation, maintenance, and construction of transmission, substation, and distribution system improvement projects; develops, maintains, upgrades, and operates a secure SCADA system; and develops and maintains a reliability-based predictive and preventative maintenance program for transmission, substation, and distribution equipment, including procedures and maintenance schedules.
 

Required Education and Experience --

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or five years’ experience with demonstrated advanced Engineering knowledge in the electric utility field; or any combination of education, training, and on-the-job experience that provides an equivalent level of knowledge, skills, and training required to perform the job duties of this position effectively.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and the ability to operate various engineering software applications, including distribution analysis software, fuse coordination software, and work order system.

Valid driver’s license. Other driving-related requirements may apply depending on the nature and scope of responsibilities associated.

Five years’ experience in the electric utility field.

Registered Professional Engineer.
