Description

The purpose of this position is to implement, maintain, and support an infrastructure for du Enterprise customers. The job holder will be part of a team responsible for implementing and maintaining a Cloud platform and ensures services are provided according to the agreed contract, SLA, and quality.
The Microsoft Engineer is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Microsoft technologies including Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, and SharePoint. This position includes working with Enterprise customers in optimizing, and monitoring requirements to gain operational efficiencies in order to drive the organization to a highly customer satisfaction.
b. Key Accountabilities
1. Full responsibility of the du Cloud Services and Infrastructure.
2. Administer systems such as Windows, Active Directory, Monitoring, , Exchange, DNS, Lync, and SharePoint
3. Diagnose system issues, predict future trends, make recommendations and implement client solutions
4. Monitor system performance and be proactive in assessing and providing recommendations for improvement of assigned systems and technologies
5. Patch and update assigned systems
6. Manage the Antivirus solution as per the security best practices
7. Maintain and enhance assigned systems for a variety of different vendor products including backup, performance management, network security, network services, etc.
8. Follow the escalation matrix and update the flash report for the delayed projects in order to notify the management and other stakeholders
9. Update the managers on open Problem Notifications, production issues.
10. Create, maintain and update required documentation, records, logs, and reports.
11. Manage the development and implementation of formal procedures that fully documents the design, implementation, provisioning, support and monitoring requirements for all existing and new Cloud Services.
12. Manage and review the development and documenting of Business Continuity Plans. Manage the testing business contingency plans. Report on success of disaster recovery, tests, ensures that results are published and necessary changes implemented.
13. Liaison with internal du departments, teams, vendors, and suppliers to determine user requirements, execute projects, and set service standards
c. Minimum Experience
 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
 Good experience with administering, maintaining and troubleshooting systems, such as Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Lync, SharePoint
 Managed Service operations or IT Operations
 Monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
 Antivirus/malware and patch
