Technical Skills:

  • Requires ability to listen to customers and stakeholders to identify new products and features.
  • Experience in the development of information-based solutions for the heavy equipment industry.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – advanced)
  • A result driven, self-starter with a unique combination of technical knowledge, business acumen and strong general and emotional intelligence.

 

(Desired):

  • PowerBi, Tableau, or MATLab/ Simulink
  • HIL/SIL testing

 

Soft Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
  • Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of computer development software across multiple platforms.

 

Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science disciplines
  • 5-7 years of Earthmoving equipment and/or telematic solutions experience
