Systems Engineer

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Define systems requirements and required integration with existing applications, systems, and platforms.
  • Develop detailed functional designs and prototypes.
  • Design and support system enhancements.
  • Work on configuration and security of web and application server products and administer software applications hosted on Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere Application Server and Microsoft IIS.
  • Maintain and administer operating systems, server security and Microsoft services.
  •  Create troubleshooting procedures and coordinate system recovery and troubleshooting activities.

Qualification Requirements: 

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field + 1 year exp. in the Job Offered or in Software Systems Design and Maintenance tasks.
  • In lieu of the Master’s degree + 1 year exp., Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience or any suitable combination of education, experience or training.
