T-SQL Developer

Mechanicsburg, PA (onsite for six weeks and then hybrid)

Job Description:

The T-SQL Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining efficient and reliable T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and other database objects. The role involves optimizing database performance, ensuring data integrity, and working closely with other developers and stakeholders to support various applications and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Create and maintain database objects such as tables, indexes, and triggers.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Ensure data integrity and implement data security measures.
• Collaborate with application developers, analysts, and project managers to support database-related tasks and projects.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to peers to ensure best practices in T-SQL development.
• Participate in database design and architecture discussions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database schemas, procedures, and processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of data migration strategies.
• Provide support for database deployments, upgrades, and patches.
