Job Title: Tableau Developer/Administrator

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 Months

This is more of an Administrator role

*** This position is approved to be filled by a remote contractor who resides and will work within the continental United States. ***

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:

Client requires the services of [1] Information Tableau Server Administrator who meets the general qualification and the specifications outlined in this document.

The workers responsibilities and skills must include:

Configure and maintain Tableau Server Software Layer

System Administration (includes site creation, server maintenance/Upgrades/patches).

Change management including software, hardware upgrades, patches

Monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements

Performance tuning / Server management of tableau server environment (clustering, Load balancing).

Create/Man age Groups, Workbooks and Projects, Database Views, Data Sources and Data Connections.

Manage and support migration of objects (dimensions, measures, hierarchies, reports, workbooks, dashboards), from development to production environments.

Provide appropriate training and support to business users on the use of Tableau interactive web reports, and Tableau Desktop.

Partner with business to design tableau KPI scorecards & dashboards.

Assist in the identification and migration of data sources to Tableau server.

Assist in development of workbooks and dashboards to support business initiatives.

Develop and document standards/best practices for development and administration of the Tableau platform.

Work closely with technical architects, data and software engineers to ensure optimal application and data database/warehouse design to support reporting requirements.

Performs related work as assigned.

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS (Required)

Minimum Requirements

Years	Skills/Experience
7	Advanced knowledge and experience with Tableau software (Desktop Pro, Server, Interactor), with a strong understanding of Tableau architecture and administration.
5	Experience in BI role working specifically with Business Community producing analytical reports/dashboards, predictive analytics, ROI calculations demonstrating value of BI
5	Ability to architect a stable Tableau solution guaranteed for high operational availability.
3	Expertise in Tableau platform sizing, troubleshooting, tuning & disaster recovery.
