Tableau Developer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into effective Tableau dashboards.
• Design, develop, and test various dashboards using Tableau, covering a wide range of visualizations including Dual Axis, Bar Graphs, Scatter Plots, Pie-Charts, Heat Maps, Bubble Charts, Box Plots, Geographic Visualizations, etc.
• Utilize actions, filters, parameters, and calculations to create interactive and insightful dashboards.
• Define calculations, ratios, and metrics to enhance the depth of analysis in Tableau dashboards.
• Publish dashboards on the Tableau server and configure user permissions and access.
• Set up data refresh processes to ensure the dashboards are always up-to-date with the latest data.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing Tableau dashboards for business intelligence projects.
• Proficiency in Tableau desktop and server, including dashboard designing, coding, and publishing.
• Excellent knowledge of various visualization techniques and best practices.
• Experience in defining calculations, ratios, and metrics to derive insights from data.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience with data refresh processes and Tableau administration is a plus.
