Tableau Developer

The Enterprise Risk team of the client is looking for a Tableau Developer to come support their team in Dallas, TX. This person will be supporting the build of a new Data Analytics platform that will be tracking risk and compliance for their team.

Must Haves:
4+ years of experience as a tableau developer
5+ years of experience in Data Analysis preferably in a big data environment 
Strong experience working in SQL Server and ability to do complex SQL queries (big plus for postgres experience)
Recent industry experience in banking, financial, or wealth management
·Experience with compliance tools like FIS Supervision Compliance Manager or Archer
Knowledge of compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements (SOX, FINRA, FINCINT, SSCN)
Wealth management or broker dealer background is a HUGE PLUS like immediate hire

This team is supporting Mergers and Acquisitions so having a background with M&A of some sorts would be great
Responsibilities:
Perform tableau development/ data analysis and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity and availability.
Utilize big data technologies including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake to manage and analyze large datasets.
Develop and maintain complex queries to extract meaningful insights from multiple databases.
Leverage Python, Pandas, and Jupyter to enhance data analysis capabilities.
Participate in M&A projects and support risk and compliance analytics.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations (SOX, FINRA, FINCINT, SSCN) and implement appropriate risk controls using tools like Archer, FIS, and Supervision Compliance Manager.
