Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead and manage end-to-end technical projects within the data space, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, product management, and business units, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Independent Execution: Take full ownership of projects, providing regular updates, managing risks, and ensuring all project milestones are met with minimal supervision.
Resource Allocation: Effectively manage resources, including team members, budgets, and tools, to optimize project outcomes.
Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity and project deliverables meet the highest standards.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in project management and data operations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on data-centric projects within the fintech industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of data technologies, including databases, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data analytics tools.
Project Management Skills: Proven experience in managing complex projects, utilizing methodologies such as Agile & Scrum.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams towards common goals.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
