Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Accountant

Job Description:
The Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for the end-to-end management of SEC filing through Workiva. This role will perform required activities to ensure accurate reporting according to SEC and US GAAP.

Responsibilities:
Managing the end-to-end process of preparing and filing SEC reporting including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and potentially the 8-K.
This role will lead processes including circulation of SEC filing documents to stakeholders within the business.
Preparing, reviewing, and editing any comments within Workiva.

Requirements:
10+ years of experience with a combination of public accounting and recent tech industry (software and/or SaaS) accounting experience.
Candidates should have extensive working knowledge of Workiva software.
Expert level excel skills.
Candidates should possess extensive technical accounting skills.
Candidates should have flexibility to work required schedule to manage quarter end filings of SEC reporting.
Candidates should be within commuting distance and be willing to report onsite.
Expected schedule is 20 hours per week, however there will be weeks in between filing deadlines where contractors will have no work to perform
