  • A University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Yes
  • Minimum ten (10) years as a Technical Analyst or Programmer Analyst. 10 years
  • Demonstrated experience with SSRS reports in a development environment. 7 years
  • Demonstrated experience with Provincial Regional Health Authority and/or Department of Health applications in Canada. 5 Years+
  • Demonstrated experience with designing, developing, implementing, migrating, and maintaining SSRS reports. 7 Years+
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing the implementation of technical solutions in an operational environment. 7 Years+
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) including designing, implementing, and troubleshooting SSIS packages. 5 Years+
  • Demonstrated experience with creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting database tables, views, functions, stored procedures, and indexes. 7 Years+
  • Demonstrated experience with analyzing, troubleshooting, and converting Cognos/Impromptu reports. 1 Year+
  • Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting SQL-based reports. 3 Years+
  • Demonstrated experience in security related to data confidentiality and client privacy issues in application design and development. 1 Year+
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into report designs. 4 Years+
  • Demonstrated experience with relational database concepts and software development lifecycles (SDLC). 3 Years+

Deliverables:

  • Participate in the analysis, development, implementation, integration, and configuration of SSRS reports.
  • Lead/participate in the development of SSIS packages.
  • Ensure that report design requirements are being met for ongoing release maintenance and support.
  • Troubleshoot problems and propose solutions.
  • Work with the various stakeholders (Business Teams, Application Support Teams, DBAs, other development teams, etc.) to ensure successful implementation.
  • Work with the Enterprise Architecture group representatives to ensure that the system architecture conforms to the Enterprise Architecture Framework, including privacy, security, operational, and quality assurance controls.
  • Completion of all assigned maintenance, support, and development activities (service requests, releases, incidents, problems, projects, etc.).
  • Updating of team knowledge sites and documentation as applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned, such as updating team documentation as required, participating in team scrums as required, etc.
