Technical Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Analytics and Visualization Specialist to join our team, responsible for conducting data validation, performing model output robustness testing, and executing monthly data upkeep for several key indexes. The ideal candidate will compile and analyze trends from data, contribute to comprehensive surveys for Advertising Insights, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of revenue and expenses base tables. This role necessitates a proactive approach to improve data models and indexes through meticulous analysis and collaboration with economic teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal data validation and robustness testing of model output.
• Execute and validate monthly Index data, maintaining Revenue and Employment Indexes and updating visualizations.
• Compile quarterly/annual trends from Index data for analysis.
• Review and reproduce internal topline numbers for revenue and expenses base tables.
• Conduct CEAS peer review and perform volatility checks with the economist team.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and ETL processes.
• Strong capability in manipulating and analyzing large datasets.
• Proven experience in data visualization and storytelling.

Industry Experience:

• Experience working with big data technologies and databases in the finance or economic research domain is highly preferred.
