Job Description:-
Responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining the Linux servers(CentOS, Ubuntu) and workstations.
Responsible for administration, maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements to JIRA, Confluence, and integration with other tools or plugins.
Responsible for developing and overseeing the backup, replication, clustering and fail over strategies for tools hosted on AWS and in work labs.
Network issue resolution of ipv4/ipv6 network protocols, LAN/WAN set-up and network updates.
Involved in writing and modifying scripts using programming languages like Shell and Python for application deployments, automation as well as system monitoring.
Provide continuous support to the users and resolve all tickets which are related to Linux servers and workstations.
SSL Certification maintenance for various tools and applications running Linux servers which are hosted on AWS.
Work at all phases of the software development lifecycle (planning, design, implementation, deployment, and support) for developing a Continuous Integration System.
Technologies:
Linux Shell commands, Iptables => Intelligent firewall against Hackers, Harvesters & Ddos attack, SeLinux => blocks a lot of things, Sysconfig configuration, Package Update, Bind (DNS zones), Apache (Web server, HTTPS, HTTPS), Mysql (Database, SQL cmds), Exim (SMTP), Dovecot (IMAP,POP3,IMAPs), Spam-assasin to stop spam, Ssh (access to Shell), proftpd (FTP, FTPs), Openssl (SSL), Git.
